Nourish Your Body Inside and Out at The Teaspot & Juice Lounge

Fuel your body at St. Croix’s newest health conscious haven in downtown Frederiksted. The Teaspot & Juice Lounge is redefining healthy indulgence with a menu bursting with fresh flavors. Freshly blended smoothies, cold-pressed juices, handcrafted teas and eye-opening coffee, there’s something for everyone at this westside eatery.

Who They Are

Owner Leah Felix has called St. Croix home since the age of 3. Her passion for health and wellness has been around for as long as she could remember. “I’ve always wanted to provide my community with organic, fresh and nutritious food and drink options,” said Jagrup. What originally started as a delivery-only service in August 2023 grew in popularity over time. In May 2024, she opened a brick-and-mortar location in downtown Frederiksted. The storefront is beautifully situated right on the water next to the Fish Market and Small Dock. It’s in the same complex as Louie & Nacho’s Beach Bar. This relaxing, scenic spot is the perfect spot to enjoy nutritious, handcrafted drinks and snacks.

If you’re lucky enough to visit The Teaspot & Juice Lounge when there’s a cruise ship at port,
the views are even more spectacular!

Leah worked for over 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry where she witnessed firsthand the chronic illnesses that plagued our community. From diabetes and high blood pressure to heart disease and even cancer, Leah saw people desperately looking for ways to feel better while relying on medications and still consuming the same unhealthy, processed foods. The Teaspot & Juice Lounge offers natural, holistic options that nourish the body and help prevent these health issues at the source. Their smoothies and juices are not just delicious but also packed with ingredients that are both good and good for you. A powerhouse of nutrients, these menu items blend tropical fruits, greens and superfoods to help fuel your body with nutritional goodness. It’s the perfect way to sneak in those fruits and vegetables you wouldn’t normally eat, like spinach or beets in your favorite mango smoothie.

What I Got at The Teaspot

Their smoothie and acai bowls are quite an indulgent treat! I decided to try one of the smoothie bowl specials on my first visit. It was made with pineapple, kiwi and strawberries and topped with shredded coconut and pumpkin seeds. On my next visit, I’ll be sure to try their vegan, gluten-free waffles. They look way too good to be healthy for you (see one here).

The Teaspot & Juice Lounge doesn’t just focus on what you eat, but on your overall well-being. They’ve introduced yoga, pilates and herbalism classes to help people: move their bodies, breathe better and relax their minds and learn about local herbs and their healing properties. “The goal is to create a space where people can nourish their bodies, clear their minds and learn how to take control of their health in a natural and sustainable way,” shared Leah. Classes are typically held on Sundays.

The Teaspot & Juice Lounge is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 3pm. Find them at 36 Strand Street next to Louie & Nacho’s Beach Bar. Follow and like them on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram to stay up to date on their latest offerings.
